The President today announced his intention to nominate the following individual to be a member of the Federal Farm Credit Board, Farm Credit Administration, for terms expiring March 31, 1988. Leonard R. Fouts is a farmer in West Point, Ind. He has been serving as chairman of the Lafayette Production Credit Association for 21 years. He is committeeman-vice chairman of the Production Credit Association National Committee. He is a member of the Federal Land Bank Association of Crawfordsville. He is married, has two children, and resides in West Point, Ind. He was born November 19, 1923. He would succeed Melvin R. Bradley.
